FEMA Registration and Courses
FEMA ID Registration
You must register for a FEMA ID (if you do not already have one) to take the exams for 100c and 700b and receive credit for the courses. All SAR volunteers are required to take 100 and 700.
Coordinators are required to take 200b and 800c courses. Anyone invited to take SIPSCC must take them also.

The FEMA 100c Online Course is required to complete your AZ SAR III course.

The FEMA 700b Online Course is required to complete your AZ SAR III course.

The Fema 200b Online Course is required for Coordinators or anyone taking the Search Incident Planning Section Chief Course.

The Fema 800c Online Course is required for Coordinators or anyone taking the SIPSCC.

Arizona SAR Technician Standards
Arizona SAR III
The AZ SAR III Task Book is designed as a recommended standard for all new Arizona Search & Rescue volunteers. It is meant to provide a foundation of training.
Upon completion of this task book, the candidate will be awarded the AZ SAR III status.
Arizona SAR II
AZ SAR II Task Book is designed as a recommended standard for continuing training for Arizona Search & Rescue volunteers. It is meant to further the training of the individual through a series of goal oriented courses of study and evaluations.
Upon completion of this task book, the candidate will be awarded the AZ SAR II status.
The Tech II Continued Training Log is for documentation of continued training for specified tasks to maintain the AZ SAR II status.
